Malenge island can be reached by using a boat trip from Ampana approximately 2-4 hours.To get Ampana, if you come from Jakarta, then should book a flight to Palu or Luwuk.Of-Palu Mutiara Airport, you can hire a taxi for the airport towards the cost of travel by approximately Rp50,000, -. Travel will bring you to Ampana.

If you come from Gorontalo, you can take a ferry for 12 hours to Wakai; The ferry operates 2 times a week. From there Wakai Malenge ship heading to the island.To schedule a go home, a departure from the island Malenge-Ampana may aboard with departures at 6 am (transit Wakai Island). Ship in this island does not operate every day, but operates only on Thursdays and Sundays.
 


Facilities and accommodation

For facilities in the small island, is very limited, we recommend you bring food, drinks, sun block, camera, medicine, flashlights and other necessities because there are no shops on the island. For those who are not too fond of sea food menu, you should bring an extra side dish (food dry or instant).
