Another opinion says pink on sand Pink Beach is due to the presence of microscopic animals called foraminifera that produce red or bright pink to coral reefs.

In the world, kind of beach with pink sand, there are only seven only. The other six are Pink Beach in Harbor Island, Bahamas; Bermuda; Santa Cruz Island, Philippines; Sardinia, Italy; Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean Island; and in Balos Lagoon, Crete, Greece. Facilities provided include toilets, places of worship, restroom, food stalls, a souvenir sellers, and some lodging.
