Attarction

I'm not going to making small talk anymore, we just discussed. Tourist attractions that will be discussed, namely Pulau Kembang (Pulau Kembang means Flower  island in the English, I do not know why the island is called Flower  island, because the island is also not a lot of flower, there are wild flowers as usual), the island in the middle Barito River is the habitat of the long-tailed monkeys and even some birds.

The island is only a few years set by the local government as a forest tour, and is currently still being developed so that more and more tourists come to this place, both domestic and foreign tourists.

The island is very comfortable visit, because the place is pristine and the middle of the river, making it free from the frenetic vehicles on the road, perhaps the only boat that is around it. In this place you will feel different sensations, by treading the wooden bridge in the middle of the island, and accompanied by a monkey, it's an amazing experience.

In the forest area tourist, there altar is intended as a place to put the offerings, this offering is for a "guardian" is guard the island. The guardian was represented by two statues of intangible white monkey (Hanuman).  Usually people who make offerings are ethnic Chinese-Indonesian who vows. A male goat horns gilded normally released into the forests of the island of Flower when a request is successful or fulfilled.

According to the story, Kembang island comes from the British ships were destroyed by the Biaju in the 1750s on the orders of the Sultan of Banjar. Those villages are located around the new island is considered that the monkeys is the embodiment of the people who have supernatural powers like monkeys. The group of monkeys is led by an large white monkey (Hanuman).

The monkeys in this area, amounting to thousands, are very familiar with the visitors. Usually when the tourists come to visit, the monkeys many who wait on the dock, waiting for the tourists to give them foods such as bananas, beans, and so on.
