Mount Seulawah Agam
Agam Seulawah mountain is a mountain located in District Seulimeum, Aceh Besar, ProvinsiAceh.
Besides known as Seulawah Agam, which has a high mountain 1726 meters above sea level has other names such as, Solawa Agam Agam Solawaik, Selawadjanten, and Goldberg. Agam Seulawah crater known as Crater Heutsz and there is also a mention of the crater as the Land Simpago
Agam Seulawah mountain formed by the meeting of the Indo-Australian plate is moving relative to the north, menujam Plate crust beneath the Eurasian continent. Due penujaman it then occurred smelting process (melting) Indo-Autralia ocean crust into magma, which then passes through the surface and then form a weak zone of Mount Seulawah Agam.
This mountain is ekosisem buffer of protected forest park Leuser. With the cool natural conditions and high rainfall in the area then many found various types of flora and fauna such as: Elephant in the know with the legend Pocut Meurahnya, deer, tigers, bears, deer, wild boar, anteater, porcupine, and snake, also contained various types of birds which adorn this region.
